Don’t Know Where To Start? Start Where You Are!

As usual, something helpful came up in my meditation. If you don’t know where to start, start where you are. So I got up, hit the shower and headed out this morning to see the city.

One of the places I have always loved, but hate the crowds is Mercado de La Boqueria. It was early enough in the day that I could get get something to eat and beat the crowds. I was not disappointed. There was so many great smells and so much fresh food. I settled on some fresh fruit and of course, jamon iberico. Some photos from my Instagram embedded below.

From there I headed down the La Rambla to the waterfront. It was great to be back there after almost five years, with some specatuclar views. I did stop in to the Maremagnum mall there and ended up doing some serious retail therapy. Many of the chains in Europe that we don’t have in Canada have stores there. It was good to get that out of the way early on in the trip.

This certainly improved how I was feeling about the trip. Now, on to lunch!
